Acrylic on Board Painting: I’ve been pugged!
I did this acrylic painting of a little pug for my neighbor’s pug, Hannah, an adult female who REALLY wants to be a mommy. She cries every time she sees this puppy painted on a board! Despite the fact the puppy never moves, it must look real enough to Hannah! Guess the zebra has inspired me! This little pug is life-sized, too, but needless to say, didn’t take nearly the time the zebra did.
There’s a Zebra in my Living Room! Life-sized and Hand-painted
Yup, I made this life-sized guy and named him Zachary the Zebra. He’s made of very fine particle board and hand-painted by me! He’s been with me for years and is a great attention-getter at art shows. He stands guard outside the booth and people can see him for blocks! If you’d like a life-sized, hand painted replica of your pet (or to give as a unique gift or to use in your own booth), email me at artsesue@hotmail!
Acrylic Painting: Lounging Polar Bear
I originally did this as a graphite pencil drawing, but liked the image so much I did an acrylic painting of it too. Although you can’t tell from this photo, the bear’s fur is “textured”, and the background and foreground are irridescent and reflective, like real snow. The original 20″ x 30″ painting, done on finished edge canvas, is posted for sale at http://fineartamerica.com/featured/lounging-polar-bear-suzanne-schaefer.html
