Here is a gouache commissioned portrait painting of Joey, a smart-as-heck, funny loving Boston Terrier. I so enjoy doing commissioned portraits, capturing the personality of the subject. The eyes, in my opinion, are critical. Doesn’t matter if the subject has claws, hooves, paws or fingers.

This is a gouache (opaque watercolor) painting of Keebler Alf, my dog. He died on Friday at the age of 18, and I miss him. I’m posting this painting in his honor.
