I’m so glad spring has arrived. This gouache (opaque watercolor) painting is of the creek north of my home. The trees are just now sending out new leaves and everything is beginning to bloom again. I’ve got to get out with my camera again today!

North of where I live, there is a beautiful, meandering river called the Stillaquamish. Although it is gorgeous anytime of year, it is particularly colorful and serene in the fall.
